I began making clothes in high school. I spent half of my days at a technical school in downtown Des Moines in an apparel design class where I first learned to sew. This program, Central Campus, also introduced me to fashion shows and showcasing designs by even modeling them myself. Without this experience, my journey in this industry would look much different.

After high school, I attended Iowa State where I recently graduated with my bachelor's degree. I have delved further into the apparel industry and deepened my understanding of the apparel process. I've become passionate about the ethics and environmental impacts of clothing and am eager to see how the industry responds to this new demand for sustainable and ethical fashion.
